Fire Flies возникла из демо, записанного во время Humanz Tour под названием London. Эта демо-запись длилась семь минут, в результате чего она была разделена на два трека: самая длинная и бодрая часть была переработана в Sorcererz (первоначальное название The Sorcererz, которое осталось в окончательной версии альбома), а более спокойная и меланхоличная вошла в Fire Flies.[1]
