Let Me Out — это пятый сингл и четырнадцатый трек из пятого альбома Gorillaz, Humanz. В записи песни участвовали американские рэпер Pusha T и певица Мэвис Стэплс.

Информация

Трек был написан Деймоном Албарном во время его путешествия на поезде, ещё в те времена, когда альбом только зарождался. Pusha T написал свой куплет после встречи с ним и Джейми Хьюлеттом, а в разговоре с Зейном Лоу, на шоу которого состоялась премьера сингла, он рассказал:

Когда я пришёл, Деймон начал объяснять мне, что задумал свой альбом как вечеринку в честь конца света, как если бы Трамп победил. Я не хотел думать об этом, но это дало мне очень красочный фон <...> Я писал, думая об этом дне, думая о победе Трампа. Когда это действительно произошло, я подумал: "Погодите-ка, какая у него модель кристального шара?". Но вряд ли Деймон действительно считал, что [Трамп] победит, я не собираюсь заходить настолько далеко, но он определённо концептуализировал всё это.
