The official music video for the Gorillaz song Aries, third single of the album Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez. It was released on 9 April 2020 along with the single itself and was produced and animated by animation studio The Line.

Synopsis[]

We last saw 2-DNoodle and Russel when they visited Lake Como, via a Kong Studios portal, while accidentally (or not) leaving bandmate Murdoc behind. Aries now picks up with Murdoc inviting longtime bandmate and rival 2D on a trip for some quality frenemy time, with a little truth serum on hand for the ride…[1]

Trivia[]

  • The video has all members of the band riding vehicles, Murdoc and 2-D on a motorbike, Noodle in her Buggy and Russel in his Golf Cart.
  • There is a driving game based on the music video.
  • At the end of the music video, 2-D addresses the viewers to stay at home and safe, while washing their hands frequently; in observance of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
