Hello all! I'd like to start this message by thanking everyone who has contributed to the Wiki over the past few years, with the goal of turning it into the biggest Gorillaz database around. You've all done great work on it, and we wouldn't be here without you, but we're not quite done yet: everything has to change, and so has the Gorillaz Wiki, which is why I'd like to bring you all two important announcements regarding it.
As you may have seen, the Wiki has recently been through major renovations to fit the current state and style of the band and everything surrounding it, which is why we now have a revamped Main Page, a new logo, updated Rules and Guidelines (which I'd like to ask each one of you to take a minute to read after this message is over) and a better navigation bar. Some things are still a work in progress, so feedback is always appreciated.
Major renovations also come with changes to how we do things, which is why, after a long time in the works, the Staff team and I are eager to present our brand-new Manual of Style! Think of it as an editing guide; it will cover all the basics for editing and adding information on the Wiki to introduce new users to the Gorillaz Wiki, explain how articles are (or should be) structured around the Wiki and give you tips on how to make articles look better and use other elements such as Templates and Categories in a comprehensive and easy-to-understand manner. If you ever had trouble getting used to or learning about the process of editing the Wiki, you've got the solution for it! We sincerely hope you all appreciate it and make great use of it. Now, let's get right into it, 'cus we've got some work to do! ✊
