Cheick Amadou Tidiane Seck (b. December 11, 1953) is a Malian musician and composer.
Role in Gorillaz[]
Cheick Tidiane Seck provided additional synthesizers to the track Ticker Tape from Gorillaz' fifth studio album, Humanz, and to the Andromeda (D.R.A.M. Special). He also appeared on the sixth episode of Things I Like by Russel Hobbs podcast.
Musical Career[]
Cheick Tidiane Seck has written for and played with many African bands, for excample Fela Kuti, Mory Kanté and Salif Keita, as well as jazz bands, like Hank Jones and Dee Dee Bridgewater. He is well known for his collaborations with musicians Damon Albarn and Mamadou Diabate.
