The DFA is a New York-based production duo made up of British producer Tim Goldsworthy and American musician James Murphy.
Role in Gorillaz[]
In 2007 DFA created a DARE remix, simply titled DARE (DFA Remix) from the album D-Sides.
Musical Career[]
The DFA have remixed many famous acts, including Nine Inch Nails, M.I.A., and the Chemical Brothers. Murphy is also a member of the group LCD Soundsystem. The DFA later created a record label called DFA Records. They should not be confused with the long-standing Italian rock band of the same name.
