Hollywood is the third track and fifth single of Gorillaz's sixth studio album The Now Now. The song features Snoop Dogg and Jamie Principle.
Background[]
The first demo for this track, called West Hollywood was recorded during the Humanz Tour, in Hollywood, and was eventually split up into Hollywood and Souk Eye. The track features additional percussion by Gorillaz Live Band member Karl Vanden Bossche.
Hollywood first debuted on March 20th, 2018, at a concert in Chile, long before The Now Now's official release.[1]
A visualiser featuring aperances from 2-D, Russel, Noodle, Ace and Snoop Dogg was uploaded to YouTube on June 21, 2018.

- Hollywood is the third time Snoop Dogg collaborated with Gorillaz and the second time for Jamie Principle. Snoop was featured on Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach and Gorillaz appeared on Sumthin Like This Night, whilst Jamie was previously featured on Sex Murder Party.
- Snoop name-drops Gorillaz in all three of their collaborations with each other, with Hollywood being the third time.
