The G-Shop was Gorillaz official website store featured on their website (Store.Gorillaz.com). During Phase 1 to Phase 2 the Gorillaz store could be found on Gorillaz.com on the Ground Floor of Kong Studios.

Phase 2[]

The G-Shop was most notably known in Phase 2 where the shop ran from 2004-2008, until Murdoc burnt Kong Studios to the ground. The G-Shop could be seen in The Lobby on the Ground Floor of Kong. The G-Shop was run by Cowboy Gary, who normally had snake around his neck. He could be seen in different Kong Studio tours.

It featured most of the (back then) newly released gorillaz merchandise, including playing cards,a slipmat (meant for a Vestax record player ) mobile phone charms, a Rubik’s Cube, a 5boroNYC skateboard, an engraved lighter, a belt, multiple T-shirt,hoodie and cap designs, and various prints (Xmas window acetate, El MaƱana print, Dare print, Dirty Harry print). On the bottom shelf of the glass display, There were CDs. These were both the deluxe and the standard version of demon days, both editions of the DARE single, the Feel Good Inc. single, and two different copies of the Dirty Harry single. Along the floor laid a box full of Demon Days vinyl albums.

During Phase 3 along with the move to Plastic Beach, the website containing Kong shifted to Plastic Beach. During Phase 3, the name was changed to a more simplified, Gorillaz Official Merchandise Shop.

G-Foot[]
