Gorillaz MTV Cribs is a MTV Cribs episode featuring Murdoc Niccals giving the MTV Cribs crew a tour around Kong Studios. After a few scattered airings,[1] it officially premiered on 26 December 2005 on MTV UK as part of MTV's "Top 50 Greatest Cribs" countdown.[2] The segment aired for the first time in the US on 30 July 2006 on MTV as part of the premiere of season 13 of MTV Cribs.[3]
Description[]
The following description was taken from Gorillaz-Unofficial's news post:[4]
| “ | Gorillaz' MTV Cribs episode is truly remarkable. Watch in awe as Murdoc pisses on his MTV Awards, disses the whole idea of Cribs and the vacuous nonentities that appear on it, and even finds time to show us a whole new side of Kong Studios. Even more surprising is that MTV UK made Gorillaz' Cribs their #1 Cribs in their '50 Greatest Cribs' countdown today. The episode will be airing on MTV in the US early in the new year. | „ |

Goofs\Trivia[]
- At the beginning, Murdoc’s surname is misspelled as “Nicalls” instead of Niccals.
- 2-D's nails are left un-coloured when he places his hand on his head, giving them a purple hue due to the wall.
- The Game-Boy that Noodle throws at Murdoc is the same one from the Phase 2 ident for DARE.
- In the same scene Noodle's left boot is left un-coloured, leading it to be white instead of brown.
- When Murdoc's taking a leak, they reverse the positions of the tattoos on his shoulders.
- The song "So Fresh, So Clean" by Outkast can be heard. Funnily enough, the second Outkast member, André 3000, would later work with Gorillaz on DoYaThing.
- The song "Give It Up" by LCD Soundsystem can also be heard, which is second DoYaThing collaborator James Murphy's band.
