Grace Beverly Jones (b. May 19 1948) is a Jamaican model, singer, songwriter, and actress from Spanish Town, St Catherine, British Jamaica.

Career[]
Perhaps best known for her career as a fashion model, Jones began modeling at the age of 13 in New York and Paris, France. Through her work with fashion photographers, she became well known for her androgynous looks and strong facial features. Her most well known Jones began her music career in 1977 after being signed by Island Records, where she would release her debut solo album Portfolio, which gave Jones her first hit La Vie zen Rose. Jones has released various hit singles and is best known for her biggest hit Slave To The Rhythm from her 1985 album of the same name. She is both one of the most famous fashion models and most famous musicians of all time, and is a worldwide household name.
