
James Dring (b. 1983) is a British music producer, mixer and songwriter. His work has been nominated for two Grammy awards and a Golden Globe award.
Role in Gorillaz[]
Dring co-produced and provided drums and drum programming for Gorillaz' albums Demon Days and D-Sides and engineered the Phase One B-side Film Music. His contribution to Gorillaz could be seen in the 2008 Gorillaz documentary Bananaz during the recording of Rockit.
Dring's work on Feel Good Inc. was credited in the award nomination for the "Record of the Year" category at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards.
Musical Career[]
Dring is an experienced and acclaimed British producer. He was nominated for a Grammy twice and has worked with artists such as Beyoncé, Sorry, Jamie T, The Child of Lov, and Genesis Owusu.
