Kelela Mizanekristos (b. June 3, 1983) is an American alternative R&B singer and songwriter.
Role in Gorillaz[]
Kelela, alongside Danny Brown, collaborated with Gorillaz and on the track Submission, from their 2017 album Humanz. Kelela also provides additional vocals for the track Busted And Blue. She has performed the song live with Gorillaz on several Humanz Tour shows.
Musical career[]
Mizanekristos made her debut in the industry with the release of her 2013 mixtape Cut 4 Me. Kelela currently has released one studio album, Take Me Apart (2017), and has collaborated with artists like Arca, Princess Nokia, Solange, Cupcakke and others.
