  • Sorry I called you a dude. It took me a couple of days to figure out I just said that and you are no longer active. Once again, I am sorry.

  • As am I! My stuff so far isn't great, but I'm working on it, and I'm working on making a band (the two other guys are away at the minute, August 19th couldn't come sooner) called "Virginia Woolf" (don't look us up yet, please) and I was wondering if you'd like to chat about it sometime on the wiki chat.

    In other news... how's life?

  • Just a heads up, try not to make too many edits on the same page back-to-back. It floods the edit change log. If you're not too sure of an edit you made but, still want to make more changes before submitting, be sure to use the "Preview" button so you can see how it looks before you make the changes.

I'm not going to mark it against you since you're still fairly new but, just remember what I said for the future because most of your edits are from editing the same pages multiple times in a row.

    • Yeah, I'm sorry. I usually kinda muck it all up at first, but I'll use the preview button way more often.

      Again, I apologize.

  • I am gonna try to see if they are any more demos tomorrow. What are you gonna be doing tomorrow?

    • I honestly dunno, I'll probably be editing the Murdoc Interview page with the Prelude to the book, but considering that's a whole beginning of the book, It'll take one hour for me to do it. So, if you could, maybe you could add it for me?

I'll probably do Russel's interview if I'm in the mood, however.

    • Yeah, I'll give those a listen. The only Nine Inch Nails song I know is Closer, which is creepiness incarnate. I'm hoping that's not an accurate representation of NIN in general.

In terms of taste, I'm a sucker for a good guitar riff, whichbis one of the reasons I love Arcade Fire, Nirvana, Gorrilaz and that kind of thing. I like sone EDM and country as well (as we speak I'm listrning to "I Draw Slow", a folk band in which my RE teacher plays bass and guitar) and I have a love for tge classics, everything fron the Beatles to Beethoven anf back again!

    • Oh, man. There's a lot more to NIN then Closer, Closer has a deeper meaning then the chorus line too if you listen to all of The Downward Spiral. The only time Nine Inch Nails gave me the creeps is when I watched the Came Back Haunted music video, but The Downward Spiral is why I love the band though. It was also the very first concept album I listened to, way before The Wall and Demon Days.

But I recommend NIN, if you want the more mature stuff I'd recommend Hesitation Marks, The Slip and Year Zero. If you wanna listen to the older stuff, then I recommend checking them out before listening to the newer stuff. It's the perfect time to get into NIN since they're coming back this year.

I like me some Beatles too, hell I sometimes listen to Beethoven if I wanna just relax. But I'm the kind of person that likes most of the band's discography, but I'd consider Demon Days to be the album that boosted my love for Gorillaz even more then the self-title.
