Mike Dean

Michael George Dean (b. March 1 1965) is an American songwriter and record producer from Angleton, Texas.

Role in Gorillaz[]

Dean co-produced the single Momentary Bliss, the first episode from the Song Machine web series which featured slowthai and Slaves. The song was later included on the Gorillaz' seventh studio album ong Machine, Season One: Strange Timez.

Musical career[]

Dean primarily works in hip hop and is best known for his works with artists such as Kanye West, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, 2pac, Jay-Z, Scarface, Madonna, The Weeknd, and Drake. His first studio album 4:20 was released on April 20, 2020 and his second studio album 4:22 was released on April 22nd 2021. He is signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music record label and has his own record label, M.W.A. Mike Dean has won numerous Grammy Awards for his production, engineering and songwriting works.
