Nelson De Freitas is a British voice actor who provided the speaking voice of 2-D until 2017, when he was replaced by Kevin Bishop. Damon Albarn is the bandmate's singing voice.
De Freitas is featured as 2-D in all of the G-Bitez and Phase One: Celebrity Take Down (a Gorillaz compilation DVD), as well Phase Two: Slowboat To Hades (another compilation disk).
