Peven Everett (b. June 2, 1975) is an American singer and DJ from Chicago, Illinois.
Role in Gorillaz[]
Everett collaborated with Gorillaz on the tracks Strobelite and Halfway To The Halfway House from their 2017 studio album Humanz and contributes additional keyboards and synthesizers to both songs. He is featured in the Strobelite music video. He also appeared on the third episode of Things I Like by Russel Hobbs podcast. Peven Everett later joined Gorillaz on Humanz Tour and The Now Now Tour where he performed tracks Strobelite and Stylo.
Musical career[]
Everett is best known for featuring on the 1996 Roy Davis Jr. single Gabriel, which is considered to be a Chicago house anthem.
