Pong is a SWF-based mini-game that was available on Gorillaz.com during Phase 2. It was released in 2004 and could be found in 2-D's room by clicking on the three ceiling monitors to the left.

Gameplay[]

The game is based on the classic sports video game, PongW, which was originally released in 1972. It's a twitch arcade video game with a table tennis theme. In this game, players control a vertical paddle to hit a ball back and forth, aiming to score.

Kong Studios Pong is designed for two players to compete with each other. Each player's paddle is on their respective screen; one on the right and the other on the left, with the middle screen left empty for the ball to pass through and the net. For the player on the left screen, the controls are the "A" and "Z" keys for moving up and down, while the player on the right screen uses the "K" and "M" keys.

The objective for each player is to score as many points as possible, with the number of goals recorded on the central monitor as the game progresses. The game does not have a predefined endpoint, so it concludes when the players decide to stop, and it can be continued indefinitely.
