Reginald Noble (b. April 17 1970) better known as Redman is an American rapper and actor from Newark, New Jersey.
Musical career[]
Noble’s first major appearance on a record was on hip hop group EPMD’s third album Business As Usual. In 1992, he released his debut album “Whut? Thee Album”, regarded for its steep influences in funk and reggae. His second album Dare Iz A Darkside was released in 1994 and was followed up by Muddy Waters in 1996, with Noble releasing various albums since then. Noble is also an actor and has appeared in many film roles including How High, Seed of Chucky, Scary Movie 3 and various others.
Role in Gorillaz[]
Redman collaborated with Gorillaz for a remix of 19-2000 called "Gorillaz on My Mind" for the soundtrack to the film Blade II. Gorillaz also remixed Redman’s 2002 single Let’s Get Dirty for the singles UK release.
