"The Eel" is a G-Bitez short from the "Phase One: Celebrity Take Down" compilation DVD.
Background Information[]
According to Murdoc, the plot for The Eel was based on a true story:
ā | A mate of mine whoās a chef was working in this place, and couldn't kill this eel which he was meant to be cooking for the lunch menu. The head chef came in, with a stinking hangover, grabbed the eel and shoved its face onto the gas. And thatās how you kill an eel, apparently. Melt its face.[1] | ā |

Trivia[]
- 2-D had his left hand in the sink while hammering the eel (properly holding onto it). He then tells Murdoc later on that he can't catch it.
- It was revealed in a Phase 3 biography that 2-D has a phobia of eels, which might explain his agitation when handling it during the sketch.[2]
- Noodle has a cameo appearance in this G-Bite as a fridge magnet.
- One frame shows an animation mistake featuring Russel's thumb at an impossible angle.
- Another error showcases Murdoc, 2-D, and Russel completely disappearing in one frame.
- And one where 2-D's left ear clips in front of his head when he says "I can't catch it!".
- The phrase "MELT IT'S FACE" is graffitied on 2-D's Pac-Man machine in the music video for PAC-MAN.
