Tiles Of The Unexpected is a SWF-based mini-game that was available on Gorillaz.com during Phase 2. It was added to Kong Studios in 2006 and later available on the 2006 DVD Phase Two: Slowboat To Hades.
Gameplay[]
The game features a screen filled with tiles that players must collect in groups of two or more to clear the level. When two or more identical tiles are together, clicking on them removes them consecutively. When a group of tiles is eliminated, those that are above will fall, and if they form a new group of identical tiles, they will be automatically deleted.
As the player clicks on tiles to clear the screen, they earn points that are stored as bombs that can be seen on the left side of the screen. These bombs can be used when the player runs out of moves (when there are no groups of tiles together), allowing them to eliminate any tile by clicking on it. If the player runs out of both their moves and bombs, the game ends. Successfully clearing the screen by eliminating all the tiles allows the player to advance to the next level, continuing until the third and final level.
