Martina Michèle Weymouth is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and composer.

Role in Gorillaz

Tina Weymouth, along with Miho Hatori, was featured on the track 19-2000 from Gorillaz' self-titled album. She provided additional vocals and additional percussion. Tina's part, which consists only of the "La La Las" heard in the chorus of song, is often confused with Miho's part, who provides more prominent vocals.

Musical Career

Tina Weymouth was mostly known as the bass player and back up singer for the band, Talking Heads and the Tom Tom Club, which she co made with her husband Chris Frantz. She would later get inducted to the Hall Of Fame.
