YOTA: Youth of the Apocalypse were a musical supergroup partly co-created by Seye Adelekan and Jeff Wootton, members of the Gorillaz' Live Band.
History[]
In 2016 YOTA: Youth of the Apocalypse was created. It's members were Seye Adelekan and Jeff Wootton, Gorillaz' Live Band members, Klaxons' frontman Jamie Reynolds, drummer Jay Sharrock, DJ Twiggy Garcia and New York rapper Young Lazurus.
Youth of the Apocalypse released the song "Drop The Bomb" featuring MF DOOM on June 1st 2018, with the music video directed by Denholm Hewlett being released on July 10th 2018.
On October 19, 2018 YOTA released their track "In The Future".
Youth of The Apocalypse were originally set to headline the 2018 Demon Days Festival in Los Angeles, but ultimately cancelled their appearance.
Their third single "Fire in My Mind" was released on March 22, 2019.
